About the LPGA Amateur Golf Association - Fairfield County CT Chapter

Founded in 1992, the Fairfield County, CT Chapter provides a positive environment of acceptance and camaraderie for approximately 150 women who want to learn and enjoy the game of golf. The chapter offers golf for all ability levels. 

Offerings include: 18-hole monthly tournaments, 9 hole outings for new golfers, weekly leagues, clinics with LPGA and PGA teaching pros, rules and etiquette seminars, indoor and on course lessons, networking events, interstate invitational golf events, annual golf conference, weekly private and public course outings hosted by the membership and a chapter championship with the opportunity to advance onto the largest amateur golf tournament for women. 

The Chapter also sponsors the LPGA USGA Girl's Golf Fairfield County, CT site for the Girl Scouts of Connecticut Council, introducing girls 7-17 to the game of golf.  The chapter has an annual charity golf tournament supporting a women's health group.
