LPGA - EWGA Strategic Alliance
The Ladies Professional Golf Association (LPGA) and the Executive Women's Golf Association (EWGA) have jointly announced plans to form a strategic alliance to further promote the growth of women's golf.
Together with the LPGA Women's Network, this alliance will create a seamless transition for women looking to go from aspiring player to recreational golfer. The two organizations believe their partnership will promote the growth of women's golf and serve as an advocate for positive change within the game.
"Our strategic alliance with the LPGA and the LPGA Women’s Network marks the beginning of a new era for women’s golf,” said Jane Geddes, Chief Executive Officer of the EWGA. "With the support of the LPGA, we look forward to creating a clear pathway for women golfers to play our sport by attracting thousands of new, aspiring players to the game as well as adding more exciting playing opportunities for current EWGA members."
More specific details regarding the alliance will be communicated within the next few months. Until then, EWGA members may learn more about the announcement, including the official press release and frequently asked questions at ewga.com.
